Jazz & contemporary

Cassandra's obsession with jazz music began when she was extremely young. She would choose to listen to Duke Ellington and Ella Fitzgerald over the "modern" music that was being produced. When she found the golden era of movie musicals with the likes of Doris Day, Judy Garland and Frank Sinatra, she was home.

As she has gotten older her love of Jazz continued with her forming the duo; High St Jazz Company. As a soloist she has performed at various events and concerts in Melbourne, Sydney, Shenzhen, Auckland, Brisbane and Singapore. 

Cassandra has also expanded into the contemporary genre crossing over for various concerts including the electronica concert featuring Jeff Mills and Derrick May along with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, The Best of British and The New Year's Eve Gala with the Qld Pops Orchestra and The Art of the Score: The Music of Hans Zimmer with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra.
